Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to PrecoAir. These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at precoairin.com (the "Website") and the smart home installation and related services offered by PrecoAir Pte Ltd ("PrecoAir", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing our Website or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Website or use our services.

2. Services

PrecoAir provides smart home device installation, configuration, and related services ("Services") for residential and commercial properties in Singapore. Our Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Smart security system installation
  • Smart lighting system installation
  • Climate control system installation
  • Entertainment system installation
  • Smart appliance installation
  • Home automation hub setup and configuration

The specific Services to be provided will be outlined in a written proposal or quotation provided to you following a consultation.

3. Service Agreements

All Services are subject to a Service Agreement, which will be provided to you following a consultation. The Service Agreement will outline:

  • The specific Services to be provided
  • The timeline for installation
  • The cost of Services
  • Payment terms
  • Warranty information
  • Additional terms specific to your project

By accepting a Service Agreement, you agree to its terms in addition to these Terms of Service.

4. Payment

Payment terms will be specified in your Service Agreement. Generally, we require:

  • A 50% deposit before work begins
  • The remaining balance upon completion of the installation

We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, PayNow, or other methods specified in your Service Agreement.

If you fail to make payment according to the agreed terms, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate Services
  • Charge late payment fees
  • Take legal action to recover amounts owed

5. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about your property and requirements
  • Ensuring we have access to the installation areas at the agreed times
  • Obtaining any necessary permissions or approvals from landlords, management committees, or authorities if required
  • Ensuring your property meets the basic requirements for the installation of smart devices (including suitable electrical systems, internet connectivity, etc.)
  • Making timely payments as agreed

6. Warranties and Liability

PrecoAir provides a 3-year warranty on our installation workmanship. This warranty covers issues directly related to our installation work but does not cover:

  • Manufacturer defects in the devices themselves (these are covered by the manufacturer's warranty)
  • Damage caused by improper use, accidents, or natural disasters
  • Issues arising from modifications or repairs made by anyone other than PrecoAir
  • Normal wear and tear

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the Services. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate a Service Agreement according to the terms specified therein. In general:

  • You may cancel a scheduled installation with at least 48 hours' notice without penalty
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a rescheduling fee
  • If you terminate a project after work has begun, you will be responsible for payment for work already completed plus any non-refundable expenses incurred
  • We may terminate Services if you breach these Terms or your Service Agreement, including failure to make payments

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of PrecoAir or our content suppliers and is protected by Singapore and international intellectual property laws.

You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without our express written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of our Website and Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and notify you by email or through a notice on our Website.

Your continued use of our Website or Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
